Regretful
Everyone makes mistakes, but those mistakes get even worse when it’s Halloweekend on a college campus. Sometimes a student can even make an absolutely irreversible mistake. The kind that is written in stone, unchangeable. Sometimes these mistakes will be remembered for the rest of time.
A local student was ready to go all out this halloweekend and they truly went to dire lengths. Being that this student was dressing up as the Joker, he felt the need to dye his hair that swamp green color to really get in character. If he was gonna go a full face of makeup, why not match it with the dyeing of his hair? Everyone knows that when an opportunity arises to be in a liquid-induced state of mind in a cool costume, students will spare no expense.
Although the pictures were nice, now that halloweekend has passed, this Joker wanna-be is regretting his decision. After 14 showers total, the green has still not faded from his hair. With a full week of classes approaching, it seems that those pictures are not worth it.
The green seeped into his many white shirts, and he was forced to wear a hat to his very formal internship meetings. He started to go viral on Fizz and became known as “green hair kid.” No one even asked his real name. All the student could do was look at himself in the mirror and say, “Why did I dye, WHY DID I DYE!”
After all this turmoil, all this student knew was that he was never going to dye again. For the rest of his natural-born life, he would never choose to dye. It was inevitable for him to never have to dye ever again; oh, and after this whole experience, he felt like he wanted to die.
