Sarah Obrycki ’26 has made her room on Lehy 3 a home!

Check out this week’s Peep My Crib, featuring Sarah Obrycki’s cozy space on Lehy 3! A member of the Class of 2026, Sarah is the Resident Assistant (RA) for Lehy 3 Upper. She lucked out with an RA room that includes a living room and private bathroom, offering her the ideal space of rest after her long days of studying, peer tutoring, and RA duties. Her room holds an added sentimental value, as two of her closest friends served as RAs in Lehy last year, inspiring her to take the position herself.

Sarah enjoys the comfort of her room all to herself, guaranteeing a peaceful environment that is essential for her personal and academic growth. This private space has become a cornerstone of her success, offering a sense of security and peace amidst her busy schedule. Decorated in soft, warm tones, her room is an oasis of serenity and calm. By placing a couch in her bedroom, she’s created a space for both relaxation and hosting her friends. The white tones of her couch covers and pillows add a near-heavenly touch, making her room feel like a cozy cloud that invites anyone who enters to unwind and feel at ease.

Sarah’s desk, although varying thematically, is a beautiful and personal touch to her room. Covered with books, Game of Thrones merchandise, photos with her friends, and her makeup collection, it transforms her study space into somewhere that can balance her motivation and comfort. Whether she is working on her various STEM assignments, handling RA duty logs, or catching up on emails, her desk is a display of her individuality and character. Each item is a reminder of what matters the most to her, providing her inspiration as she tackles her weekly responsibilities.

The beauty of Sarah’s room is in its simplicity, allowing her decorations, lighting, and the colors to truly shine. The soft brown tones of her furniture add to the neutral tones, creating a space that guarantees comfort and relaxation. Her lofted bed is able to separate her sleeping and living areas, also serving as a key feature that enhances the room’s tranquil energy. The calming white tones of her bedding provide a constant reminder that no matter how stressful her day may be as a Holy Cross student, she has a serene place where her own peace is guaranteed.
