This past week’s weekly CAB event took the form of a Bingo & Boba night. Each Friday, from 9-11 pm, CAB hosts an event that is open to anyone and everyone on campus. On November 8th, this event was put on by the Social Committee, and students had the opportunity to participate in Bingo while also making their own bubble tea drink. CAB Bingo Nights typically include a variety of great prizes and Friday was no different. Some prizes that could be won were an Alexa, a Vinyl Record Player, Sony Headphones, a Keurig, LEGO flowers, and more. Simply by participating in Bingo all of these prizes could be won. Katie Mohammed ‘26, the point person of the Social Committee, said that “[the Social events are] a great way to relax and hangout with friends, roommates, and meet new students on campus!” She noted that the Social Committee puts on events that take place every third Friday. These events are always lots of fun and popular with the campus community! Bingo Night, which took place in Crossroads, was packed with people from all classes.
Lizzie Swanson ‘28, stated “I had such a great time at the event, the whole floor was packed. It was great to be around so many members of the HC family, the whole energy was buzzing.” Students enjoyed the boba as a unique addition to a traditional event. On November 15th, the Music Committee is hosting a Pop Princess Party with games like trivia and Guess This Song, a photobooth, and it will focus on popular stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Chapell Roan. All are encouraged to attend. Continue to keep your eye out for new and upcoming CAB events! For more information visit the CAB Instagram (@holycrosscab) or email the RSO email (CAB@g.holycross.edu).
