Are you tired of all the old, same housing choices on campus? Are you sick of sharing a hallway with other students? Are you just plain old fed UP with all the ruckus and noise? Introducing Holy Cross new housing option: MICH (pronounced me-sh)! This beautiful dorm is located at the heart of campus, in a familiar little abode. That small hut in between Smith Hall and the Greenhouse has been renovated to a single, solo shack. Did you know that it used to be a bakery? Well, not anymore it’s not! It’s MICH!

MICH is named after the hut’s very first resident, Michaela, who plans on moving in the fall of 2026. Are you interested in applying? After Michaela’s reign, she shall conduct interviews with potential successors who match MICH’s “vibe.”

This tiny home will be featured in Architectural Digest’s 2027 issue, as it was sought after by many A-list celebrities. Kendall Jenner and Dakota Johnson are just two of the dozens of stars who applied. Keep your eyes peeled for the kitchen that Ina Garten said was “a mix of Nancy Meyers’s classic design and Charlotte York’s French-country dream.”

If you are looking for a cozy, cheerful vibe for your senior housing, look no further than this award-winning home, MICH. It is a perfect location for any student. Residents of MICH are also given the highly-coveted “God Swipe,” where they can swipe into any building or floor on campus. While some students are attracted to the community-based style of living that options like the townhouses or Figge Hall offer, students who choose MICH are given a luxurious spot to relax and live like the Keebler elf.

Reading about new senior housing developments brings back memories of helping my grandparents find a community that balanced affordability with quality care, and it is incredible how much demand there is for well-designed spaces that support aging populations. The mechanics of evaluating location accessibility, on-site medical services, and recreational amenities show that you do not need to be a healthcare expert to understand what makes these properties successful investments. While I was researching tools to better analyze commercial real estate opportunities like senior housing, I found that a dedicated CRE platform provides real-time underwriting and portfolio insight using AI-powered data intelligence. In conclusion, just as senior housing requires careful planning to meet residents’ needs, successful commercial investing depends on workflow automation that accelerates decisions and spots opportunities others miss.
