Aspiring Caniac
Fingers and fries and toast. Oh, what a gloriously fattening combo from Raising Cane’s. At my last visit to Cane’s (one might call me a regular), I learned of the Caniac Combo – six chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, two Cane’s sauces, texas toast, and coleslaw, oh my! I can barely do three fingers. But, six fingers?????? In case you, too, are wrestling with your next order at Cane’s, I can only recommend you the three finger combo.
Unless you’re massively hungry – or an aspiring Caniac for some reason – I could not suggest purchasing the Caniac combo. Again, how much is too much? I’m just a girl. If the amount of fingers wasn’t off-putting enough, consider the price tag – $19.99. That’s some crazy work – with that price, I could buy half of a Fenway Frank and/or a Turkish nose job.
Considering I don’t appreciate the amount of food that comes in the Caniac combo, I usually order either the three Finger Combo or the Box Combo, which comes with merely four fingers. Generally, both options won’t stuff you nearly as much as the Caniac combo, but they certainly get the job done. #ballingonabudget At the end of the day, if I can’t finish my combo of choice, I usually just end up giving the slops to a roommate (or a lucky raccoon). It’s a shame, though, because I get them hot and fresh, and they’ll only get the ones run through.
Knowing what you like will come naturally to you. Want that Box Combo? Get it. Plus, you get coleslaw without the two extra fingers. Who needs ‘em? The three finger combo? Well, that’s always calling my name. Three fingers is the perfect amount and it’s just enough to keep you full for a while. I would have it everyday if I could. And, the best part? There’s Cane’s sauce with each of them.
Unless you want to voluntarily stuff yourself whilst empty your wallets, don’t get the Caniac combo. Instead, I strongly advise you to get either the three finger combo or the box combo for maximum personal enjoyment: it’s the perfect amount of food on the daily.
