Favorite Animal: Flamingo
Favorite Book: “Dear John” by Nicholas Sparks
Favorite Color: PINK!
Favorite Movie: I love any Kenny Ortega film (“Dirty Dancing,” “Salsa: The Motion Picture,” “High School Musical,” “Michael Jackson’s This Is It,” etc.). I enjoy any movie with a dance focus.
Favorite Song/Artist: This is such a hard question! Anything by Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, Marc Anthony, Romeo Santos, NSYNC, Britney Spears…the list goes on.
Favorite TV Shows: “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Gossip Girl,” “The Fosters,” “Once Upon a Time,” and “Shades of Blue.”
Favorite Meal on Campus: A Buffalo Chicken Flatbread from Croads. That’s my #treatyoself meal.
Favorite Professor and Why?: Professor Joshua Blaylock. He’s a former professor from the French Department. He always came to class with admirable amounts of energy and made French 101 and 102 SUPER fun. He even wrote my study abroad recommendation after he left Holy Cross!
Favorite Sophomore Student: I can’t choose! But I adore all my sophomore #BallroomBaes.
Favorite Junior Student: Again, any of my #BallroomBaes.
Favorite Senior Student: Jacqueline Bashaw. We’ve been roomies since freshman year!
Favorite Off-Campus Restaurant: El Patron Mexican Restaurant #NotMezcal
Biggest Regrets at Holy Cross: Thankfully, I don’t have any regrets! But I wish I had time to take a theater or dance class.
Best Memory of Holy Cross: Performing Salsa at LASO’s annual Noche Latina. This is always the highlight of my year!
Campus Activities: Co-Captain of the Ballroom Dance Team, former Chief Features Editor of The Crusader, and General Member of LASO
Advice for Fellow Crusaders: Always be your unapologetic self. If someone doesn’t like it, too bad!
Guilty Pleasure: Buffalo Chicken, Stacy’s Pita Chips, and dark chocolate
Bragging Rights: When I was in eighth grade, Dionne Warwick visited my elementary school to promote her children’s book, “Say a Little Prayer.” I performed her song, “I’ll Never Love this Way Again” and she gave me a standing ovation. Also, when I was thirteen, my theater teacher’s friend asked me to partake in her Christmas album and sing in Spanish. You can get it on iTunes (“Quando, Quando, Quando” by Helen Russell)!
Hobbies: Dancing and working out (besides work, this is literally all I do with my life).
Pet Peeve: Fake people.
Role Model: Jennifer Lopez (she has been my idol ever since I can remember).
Number One Thing On Your HC Bucket List: Go to a Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees game at Fenway Park.
Your Mantra: “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!” – Audrey Hepburn
One Thing You Would Change at Holy Cross: I wish I would have had better guidance and support throughout my study abroad experience.
Plans after Graduation: I hope to return to New York and to work within the arts and entertainment industry. Let’s see what happens!
