On November 18th, Holy Cross seniors prepared to attend Senior Ball at the DCU Center, an event that celebrates their accomplishments throughout the years and brings friends together for a beautiful night of pictures, food, dancing, and fun. Dressed in gorgeous gowns and dapper suits and tuxedos, students gathered around the steps of Fenwick, taking pictures with their friends, and celebrating the occasion. While the night was exceptionally chilly, students fought through the cold to take pictures and then make their way up to Hogan. Attendees were shuttled to the DCU Center, where they were met with a beautiful display. There was a sweet photo-booth setup, where students could take photos with their friend groups, and the staff even provided fun accessories, such as signs, hats, necklaces, and glasses to make the experience even more fun and exciting. The photos are sure to be a great keepsake for years to come.
Inside the big ballroom were plenty of tables and a sprawling dance floor. Seniors were served three courses consisting of salad, a chicken and mashed potatoes meal, and tiramisu for dessert! Each student over 21 received a free drink ticket, and many students enjoyed the aptly named “Crusader Cocktail.” The venue was elegant and students enjoyed the experience. Coffee and tea was set up after dinner, making for a great way to unwind from the busy day. Seniors gathered on the dance floor, enjoying the music and the company of friends around them. The experience was one-of-a-kind and memorable. The event gave students an opportunity to dress up and take a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of schoolwork and other commitments. The gallery of Senior Ball photos below is just a small portion of photos taken by students, but it goes to show just how much fun students had dressing up and enjoying the fancy occasion.
